Ellunas

So, er, hi. It's been a while, dA. How've ya been? Me? Pretty great. I'm always busy with work, school, and life in general. Art has taken a major push to the back-burner in the last couple years, though, if I have to say it and my lack of updates isn't proof enough. As for dA, I'm around a couple of times a week, but even then, I wasn't keeping up with messages like I should have been so I just did a mass delete a little while ago because I was tired of the guilt over it. Still a little guilty, but it is what it is. I'd like to say this is a new start and I'll be more active, but I definitely can't promise that, especially with classes start

It took me long enough, but I put in an order for a new tablet today! It's a small Bamboo, only 1/3rd the size of my last one, and for that I'm so excited. I always hated my enormous clunker; contrary to what seems to be popular belief, bigger is not better, or so I've found. It helps that while staying with the brilliant SquidBuckets (https://www.deviantart.com/squidbuckets) last week, I got to try her tablet of the same size/make and fell in looooove. I've never had a Wacom -- my first and only tablet was a Genius -- and the pressure sensitivity difference was just... phenomenal. So! This means that, soon, I think I'll finally have pieces to submit again. Keep an eye out!

Just a heads-up that TayloWolf is now Elunas. I couldn't stand the "-wolf" and was so excited to finally be rid of it! I was going to change to Taylo to reduce confusion, but the name's taken, and I abhor adding numbers to the end of my usernames, so Elunas I'll be from here on out. Obviously, you're all still welcome to call me Taylo, though, seeing as that's my actual nickname offline, as well. As for an update: there's little to tell. I'm just using this month to catch up with friends and relatives one last time before I move across the country to Nevada. My tablet's still useless, surprise surprise.
