Hello, good people of dA! Figured I should update, even though I don't really have much of interest to report. Life's just moving along as usual. I think I'll just make a list of random stuff:

1) Had some strange dream about Fullmetal Alchemist last night, which despite my utter obsession, is actually pretty rare. I was really getting into the dream because it seemed like something that could actually happen in an episode... but then, of course, the phone rang and woke me. >_< I just lied there, mourning the loss for a good fifteen minutes before deciding that I was wasting way too much daylight.

2) Work's generally been going well, but I'm dreading going in tomorrow morning. Urgh. Yesterday my "boss" gave me a big stack of cloth and a pair of scissors and told me to cut the cloth into bandannas (the groomers put those around dogs' necks when they're done with them). I set to work and cut non-stop for three hours, but the cloth was so freaking hard to cut and the 100+ bandannas I made looked as though I was cutting them while drunk. >_< "Boss" came back half an hour before I left and finally showed me the right way to do it (I swear I tried everything I could think of before then)... but now I feel like a fool for cutting all of those so poorly. Blaaarrgh. I think I'm going to apologize and see if she'll let me just go back and trim every... single... bandanna... and make them presentable. Eh. Hope it's not really a major strike against me because I want to get hired next year, which definitely won't happen if I screw up like that again. *mopes*

3) Still procrastinating with my summer homework. I told myself I was going to start reading the three books (chemistry next week) this past Monday, and my progress? I pulled the first book out of my room and placed it on my computer desk out here today... and here it's been sitting, unopened. Epic. Fail. Rawr. I'm going to force myself to start reading after work tomorrow. I have to. HAVE TO.

4) ...I have this huge desire to write short fics based off of the ideas in this prompt community on livejournal. Uhmm. Yeah. Me + writing fic hasn't happened in so long. I'm so tempted to be a bad student and follow through on that desire tonight instead of break into my books. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions...
